Cienfuegos City Tour
You’ll kick start your Cuba trip with an informative tour of Cienfuegos’ top attractions. The picturesque waterside city, known as the “Pearl of the South”, is home to some of Cuba’s most elegant architecture. Your guide will take you to the city’s top attractions, including Cementerio Municipal de Acea, with an entrance that replicates that of the Parthenon, Palacio del Valle, which features fine Neo-Moorish architecture, and the Castillo de Jagua, built to guard the city against Jamaican pirates.

After the tour, it’s time to refresh and refuel at a popular Cienfuegos paladar. Paladares are privately-owned restaurants and the site of some of the most interesting culinary innovation taking place in the country.

Cienfuegos City Tour
The Spanish conquistadors who colonized the city were followed by French immigrants who left an unmistakable mark on it. You’ll visit the 19th-century Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, boasting stunning French stained-glass windows, and the Tomás Terry Theater, one of Cuba’s grandest Eclectic buildings which demonstrates a strong French influence. You will continue on to the Arch of Triumph, a “Franchophile monument” and celebration of Cuban independence. The tour ends with a visit to the nearby statue of José Martí, a 19th-century philosopher considered to be the father of the Cuban nationality.
