My Favorite Destination
It’s a tough choice but I’m particularly fond of Cienfuegos, coined the “Pearl of the South”. Its architecture is quite unlike that found elsewhere in Cuba, featuring a heavy French influence. The beautiful bayside setting that Cienfuegos enjoys makes it all the more lovely.
My Best Experience
Exploring art studios in Havana and talking with the hugely talented artists. I saw some spectacular pieces and wanted to take them all home with me. It was great to be able to hear the artist’s thoughts on their work and hear their experiences of the recent interest in Cuban art.
