My Favorite Destination
Eastern Cuba, where I’m from. It’s so lush and green, the air feels fresher. Even in the cities, you have the verdant Sierra Maestra mountains towering in the background. We produce a lot of food here, including my favorite: chocolate. I may be biased, but I believe Eastern Cuba is one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean, maybe even the world.
My Best Experience
Driving from Santiago de Cuba to my home in Baracoa, taking the coastal route and passing through the Gran Piedra National Park. I try to do this drive most times I visit, it always renews my appreciation for Cuba.
